It is a cloudy night with storms in the forecast in Omaha, but Arkansas and UCLA are set to start at 6:30 p.m. after the Louisville-Oregon State game ran long.

Less than 72 hours after walking off the mound of Charles Schwab Field at the College World Series in Omaha, lefty Zach Root will get a shot at redemption against the UCLA Bruins.Root has been announced as the starter for Tuesday night’s elimination game.

The Razorbacks (49-14) will send left-hander Zach Root (8-6, 3.82 ERA) to the mound against the Bruins (48-17) in an elimination game scheduled for 6 p.m. at Omaha’s Charles Schwab Field.

The Arkansas baseball team is scheduled to play UCLA in an elimination game Tuesday night at the College World Series.
