Pro-THC advocates' and business owners' relentless efforts proved at least temporarily successful late Sunday after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott opted to veto a looming ban on consumable hemp products.  Abbott's decision not to put his stamp of approval on the widely unpopular move to prohibit consumable THC products may win him brownie points with those against it;

Shortly after the bill was vetoed, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, one of the staunchest supporters of SB3, called out Abbott, saying he remained totally silent on the bill throughout the legislative session.
