Former MLB pitcher Dan Serafini was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2021 shooting that claimed the life of his father-in-law and left his mother-in-law injured.
Serafini, 51, was convicted of murdering Gary Spohr and attempting to murder Wendy Wood at their home near Lake Tahoe in 2021.
Prosecutors told the jury that Serafini snuck into his in-laws’ house while his wife and their two children were spending time with her parents on the lake and he waited four hours for his family
