Ford Motors is one of the most popular car brands in the United States, with nearly 2 million sold in 2024. The recall affects a wide range of Ford models across multiple years, as well as three Lincoln models, Ford's luxury line.

Ford has recalled a million vehicles for problems with the rearview camera. It has accomplished little in addressing its many quality issues.

Dealers will inspect and replace the lower intermediate shaft fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 26, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S46.

JOHANNESBURG - The National Consumer Commission (NCC) is urging owners of the recalled Ford Ranger Light commercial vehicles to urgently return their cars to their closest dealerships. The commission received the latest recall from Ford Motor Company earlier this week, owing to a defect.
