Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Harvard of allowing "foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus."

U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration escalated its feud with Harvard University on Wednesday, declaring the Ivy League school may no longer meet the standards for accreditation and that it would subpoena it for records about its international students.

The DHS said it is sending Harvard administrative subpoenas to hand over data regarding its Student Visitor and Exchange Program dating back to 2020.
