Chris Jasper, who helped bring the slow-grooving Isley Brothers into an upbeat electronic era, died Sunday at 73.

Jasper joined the group in the 1970s alongside Marvin and Earnie Isley. His sister, Elaine, married another brother, Rudolph Isley.
