Josh Oliver is locked up to be a Minnesota Viking for the next four years and Wes Phillips is very happy about that fact.

The Vikings have signed tight end Josh Oliver to a three-year extension, the team announced Tuesday, a deal worth $23.25 million with $19.9 million in total guarantees, Andrew Kessler of Athletes First told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Though he still might not be a household name, tight end Josh Oliver fills an important role for the Vikings. That explains why the Vikings announced on Tuesday morning that they had signed Oliver to a lucrative contract extension that keeps him around through 2028.
