Incoming Red Bull F1 team boss Laurent Mekies has paid tribute to the ousted Christian Horner in his first interview in the new role.

Red Bull’s Formula 1 team is changing team directors for the first time since it was founded 20 years ago, after Christian Horner's sacking sent shockwaves through the sport on Wednesday.

In early 2024, Horner was accused by a female colleague of sexual harassment and coercive, controlling behaviour, prompting an internal investigation.
