More than 140,000 Xcel Energy customers are without power in Minnesota and western Wisconsin as storms push through the region. The majority of the outages are in the Twin Cities metro. There are reports of trees down across the Twin Cities metro and beyond.

Severe weather that passed through during the day knocked out power for 74,000 customers across Minnesota. The vast majority of outages are in the metro, with more than 45,000 customers without power in Hennepin and Ramsey counties alone.
