The Rangers bounced back from an extra-inning collapse in the series opener against the Padres, as Wyatt Langford made his return from injury.

The Rangers expect left fielder Wyatt Langford, who has been sidelined since June 25 with a left oblique strain, to return to the lineup for Saturday’s game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Langford’s return will be dependent on how the 23-year-old feels.

The Texas Rangers activated outfielder Wyatt Langford from the 10-day IL on Saturday and optioned infielder Justin Foscue to Triple-A Round Rock.
