For the first time since 2014, Nebraska softball is playing in the Super Regionals of the NCAA Tournament. NU run-ruled Southeastern Louisiana in the Baton Rouge Regional Final Sunday afternoon, 8-0 in six innings.

Southeastern Louisiana had an extended stay in the NCAA Baton Rouge softball regional but the Lions’ trip to the championship round ended quickly in thorough domination.

Nebraska clashed once again with Southeastern Louisiana in the regional championship on Sunday. The Huskers took the regional with an 8-0 win.

Behind a big day from the Husker batting order and another strong performance from Jordy Bahl in the circle, Nebraska rolled into the regional final in Baton Rouge.

The Southeastern Louisiana Lions came to Tiger Park as the No. 4 seed in the Baton Rouge regional. By Saturday night, they looked like the best team in the state.

Bowlin and Gordon received plenty of TV time during the regionals. Now with Nebraska in the Supers, the Huskers are upping the ante.

Nebraska softball dominated Southeastern Louisiana from start to finish Saturday in the winners bracket of the Baton Rouge Regional, getting the run-rule victory in five innings,14-1. The Huskers improve to 41-13 while the Lions fall to 49-15.
