The Chargers' social media team has a reputation for being among the NFL's best when it comes to engaging fans, and the schedule release is their Super Bowl.

The NFL schedule for the 2025 season has been announced and not everyone is happy with the match-up for the first international game of the season.

Coming off a successful first season with head coach Jim Harbagh, the Los Angeles Chargers are looking to take another step forward in 2025.

But there are some big problems, too. Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers have to travel more sheer mileage than any other team. Arguably even worse, they’re losing a home AFC West divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs to the international series.

The NFL marketing teams had their annual Super Bowl on Wednesday with the NFL's schedule release, which featured some great content as teams rolled out their 2025 slate. The short clip, spotted at the end with the Chargers' full schedule,

The NFL spends a lot of time every year putting the schedule together and although the league does its best to make sure every team is happy, the fact of the matter is that making everyone happy is impossible when you're putting together a schedule that consists of 272 games (You can see the full schedule here).

The league didn't have to pick the Chiefs, but it did. That came despite avoiding a divisional game in every other international matchup this season and a long history of doing so.

Billy Joel and Chris Brown were among the people whose plans came into consideration when the 2025 NFL schedule was put together. Both musical artists will have concerts in NFL stadiums this fall which made an early-season matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders tricky to schedule.
