Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani will return to the mound for the first time since 2023, with a start against the San Diego Padres on Monday in Los Angeles, the team announced.

The Dodgers said Sunday that Shohei Ohtani will make his Dodgers pitching debut Monday against the San Diego Padres.

Instead of throwing another live batting practice session this week, Ohtani will pitch an inning or two on Monday against the Padres, marking his first game action on the mound since elbow surgery
