Oliver Stone's "JFK" was nominated for eight Oscars and grossed more than $200 million but was also dogged by questions about its historical accuracy.

Oliver Stone urged lawmakers in Washington, D.C, Tuesday to reopen the investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who was killed Nov. 22, 1963.
