Trevor Lawrence credited the additional work the team did this offseason for the sharpness on Day 1 of training camp.

The stadium mock game is in the books and it was an excellent night of work for Trevor Lawrence and the offense. For the first significant team-type action under Liam Coen, it was something to build on. Defensively, Travon Walker, Jourdan Lewis and Jarrian Jones had impressive nights for the Jaguars.

Wednesday was only the first training camp practice for the Jacksonville Jaguars. There is still a long ways to go between now and when the first regular season game arrives. But coming off a break and the offseason programs before that, quarterback Trevor Lawrence likes what he saw on Day 1 and the growth that the offense has had.
