Senators are set to meet with top national security officials as some lawmakers question President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iranian nuclear sites and whether those strikes were successful.

Donald Trump has rejected claims that enriched uranium was removed from one of Iran’s nuclear sites and has a novel explanation for the “unusual” activity seen near the plant before the U.S. strikes: concrete workers.

President Trump said Iran didn't move stores of highly enriched uranium out of Iranian nuclear sites before they were hit by American bombers. "The cars and small trucks at the site were those of concrete workers trying to cover up the top of the shafts.
