The veteran point guard has been in the middle of trade rumors recently, and the team’s front office is looking for a first-rounder in return, plus “whatever reduced salary comes back in the deal,” per Hardwood Paroxysm .

During the 2024-25 NBA season, Holiday played in 62 games for the Celtics. He averaged 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, while shooting 44.3 percent from the floor overall and knocking down 35.3 percent of his three-point attempts.
