The preseason gives rookies their first taste of NFL game action and gives them much-needed reps heading into the regular season. For the Cincinnati Bengals, that opportunity comes Thursday as they open their preseason schedule on the road against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

For the first time in seven full months, the Cincinnati Bengals play a football game. Cincinnati's preseason begins with a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Dylan Fairchild to be their starting left guard, and he's been doing a good job in training camp.
