The New Jersey senator's Senate floor marathon speech broke a record set 68 years ago by then-Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina.
A Booker spokesperson declined to comment on how the senator had prepared for his speech, including whether he's been wearing a catheter or diaper.
