Global logistics giant DHL is restricting parcel services from Germany to the United States due to new tariff regulations imposed by the Trump administration, the Germany-based company said on Friday.

DUSSELDORF (Reuters) -DHL, which runs Germany's postal service Deutsche Post, said it will suspend acceptance and transport of parcels and postal items containing goods from business customers destined for the United States from August 22.

DHL joins a crowd of European postal groups that are suspending standard shipments to the U.S. as the country starts charging duties on lower value parcels.
