ESPN writer Kiley McDaniel predicts that the Philadelphia Phillies' night-one picks, Gage Wood and Cade Obermueller, could make their MLB debuts this season.

The Chicago White Sox selected shortstop Billy Carlson of Corona (Calif.) High School with the No. 10 pick in the MLB draft on Sunday.

On July 13, Cairone was drafted 68th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers in the supplementary second round. The 6-foot-2 southpaw landed on the All-State Third Team after racking up 94 strikeouts in 44 innings, which was accompanied by a 0.48 earned run average. He graduated with 238 career punch-outs.
