A 76-year-old man is believed to be dead after a fire north of Duluth, Minnesota, on Monday, authorities said.
The fire was reported early Wednesday morning in Houston County.

The bodies of Gregri Johnson and Barbara Johnson were found inside their residence after a fire reported in the early morning hours on Monday. The incident remains under investigation.
It initially was believed that a missing person may have been inside the building, the sheriff’s office reported. Around 8:30 p.m., investigators found the body of a 76-year-old Duluth resident. The person’s identity has not been released pending notification of the family.
A portable heater is believed to be the cause of a fire in Miltona, Minnesota. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a call before 5 p.m. at 252 Elm Street North. They were assisted by Miltona Fire Department and Carlos Fire Department.
