OAKLAND — Firefighters early Monday fought a three-alarm fire that broke out at a building in the downtown area, fire officials said.

A massive, multi-county fire department response was dispatched to a multi-alarm fire that broke out at Riverside Bake Shop and Reese's Barkery in downtown McHenry Sunday afternoon.

According to the HFD, the fire was located in the 100 block of Dupre Lane on the east side of Houma around 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, fire crews found one structure fully engulfed in flames, which quickly spread to two nearby buildings.
