Oregon Coast Railriders, which set up shop on May 26, has brought a fleet of pedal-powered vehicles to a stretch of defunct railroad track between Bay City and Tillamook.
Rail riding takes riders on an adventure along the tracks in places they have never seen before. There are now four rail riding locations across Oregon in Coquille, Joseph, Tillamook and Hood River.

The Oregon Coast Rail Riders offers excursion trips at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. It costs $22 per person, $10 for 11 and under. Reservations can be made online at www.ocrailriders­.com or 541-786-6165.
Participants will go on an 8-mile roundtrip excursion, approximately 1.5 hours, all by rail bike. However, the company notes that the rail bikes do feature pedal-assist motors to make pedaling easy.
