Santa Ana winds are returning to San Diego County Wednesday evening, surging temperatures and prompting a wind advisory for much of the region.

With Interstate-64 completely blocked and visibility near zero, crews are scrambling to pull cars from ditches as frustrated motorists remain trapped in icy gridlock.
