The Ultimate Fighting Championship will travel nearly 10,000 miles and throw its promotional might behind Top 10 light heavyweights on Saturday in Australia.

Sandhagen (18-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 320 – which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili (20-4 MMA, 13-2 UFC).

There are plenty of recent examples of older fighters getting a shot at UFC. Patricio Pitbull, who is widely regarded as one of the best ever to come out of Bellator, joined at 37. Mandel Nallo also got signed at 36 after earning a contract through Dana White’s Contender Series,
