Wolf Rock crag is its most famous attraction; home to 22 routes ranging from beginner to advanced, climbers who come here can say they’ve climbed the largest monolith in all of Oregon.

Now that the 8-foot-wide bridge is open, hiking trails and climbing areas that are back open include River Trail, Misery Ridge, Mesa Verde, Summit Trail, Wolf Tree Trail and Burma Road Trail.

Wolf Rock is the largest monolith in Oregon, towering 900 feet above the forest floor. That's nearly four times the size of Haystack Rock.

Winter rock climbing can be had in Portland also. Sometimes it is good to go out in the rain, just to see if it can be done. And there are those windows in the weather that allow climbing dry rock.
