It might not have been the shot heard around the world but it was a goal that reverbrated 13,000 kilometers (8,000 miles) away when Auckland City FC scored Tuesday to draw 1-1 with Boca Juniors at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Amateur team Auckland City ended their Club World Cup in remarkable fashion by scoring their first goal and earning their first point with a surprise draw against Boca Juniors, who were also eliminated from the competition.

Auckland City, the only amateur team in the FIFA Club World Cup, stunned soccer power Boca Juniors in a group stage game at Geodis Park.
