U.S. Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino will appear in federal court in Chicago on Tuesday to answer questions about his alleged use of tear gas in Chicago neighborhoods in apparent violation of a court order.

A federal judge has summoned a top Border Patrol official leading President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown in Chicago to appear in court, after a video appeared to show him deploying tear gas potentially in violation of a court order limiting its use against protesters.
