At his NC State introductory press conference, Will Wade confidently stated, "We are going to win and do it quickly." He certainly wasn't kidding. Wade landed his biggest transfer portal addition yet, nabbing former Texas Tech standout Darrion Williams.

Darrion Williams, who averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists last season, announced his transfer to NC State where he will spend his senior season with new Wolfpack coach Will Wade. He declared for the NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility and also entered the transfer portal in early April.
