Family and friends of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and his brother were gathering Friday at a church where their bodies have been brought for a wake and funeral after the Portuguese soccer players were killed in a car crash in Spain.

Diogo Jota’s family have gathered in his hometown of Gondomar near Porto for a wake and funeral over the weekend.The Liverpool star’s father Joaquim, appeared at the Capela da Ressurreicao on Friday morning to pay tribute alongside his wife and wider family at a private wake.
