The Phoenix Suns are reportedly getting closer to having a trade in place for veteran star Kevin Durant, albeit with a number of teams still in the running to secure his services.

Kevin Durant wants the Phoenix Suns to trade him to the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat or San Antonio Spurs. However, since Durant doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract, the Suns can trade the future Hall of Famer anywhere.

Durant reportedly has a wishlist (the Spurs, Rockets and Heat reportedly are on it), and with his expiring contract, he has a bit of leverage to get the deal he wants. But he is 37, not 27, and the threat of him passing on a lucrative two-year extension doesn't hold quite the same weight it once would.
