Steelers owner Art Rooney II lamented the team's late-season night games after the schedule was released on Wednesday night, but the team will be playing at 1 p.m.
According to a recent schedule leak, the Steelers will visit the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 for Sunday Night Football.
The Fan's Andrew Fillipponi predicted the Steelers will face an NFC North opponent on Monday Night Football in Week 1.
It won’t take long for the storylines to underline the schedule. In Week 2, Pittsburgh will play its home opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Of course, the Steelers traded for Seahawks star receiver DK Metcalf in the offseason.
The Steelers could use another pass catcher and the Packers have an abundance of receivers, making the teams potential trade partners.
Former NFL quarterback and current NBC Sports analyst Chris Simms does not see the hype with Pittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Will Howard. Simms says Howard’s arm is below average, which is exactly why he fell as long as he did to the Steelers in the sixth round, and that will naturally cap his upside.
