INDIANAPOLIS — Caitlin Clark had 20 points, six assists and four 3-pointers and the Indiana Fever beat the Connecticut Sun, 88-71, on Tuesday night in a physical game that included three late ejections.

Later in the fourth quarter, Sheldon was driving to the paint, and Sophie Cunningham tossed her to the floor without making a real play on the basket. Cunningham was then assessed a flagrant-2 foul and was ejected. After the game, Fever head coach Stephanie White spoke about the Clark altercation.

The game against the Sun marked the Fever’s second straight outing with Caitlin Clark. Clark has several other familiar foes in the WNBA, one of whom is Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon, whom she has matched up against multiple times over the years.
