Google Pixel and Samsung phones have taken over power menus by forcing Assistant and Bixby on you. You can change them back to power menus.

Android 12 is giving up control of the power button to Google Assistant and, at least for the first beta, blocking access to the usual menu.

Google Assistant is now smart enough to stay on the line so you don't have to listen to hold music. It'll also show you automated menu options during a call.
