PHOENIX — The city of Phoenix is taking steps to modernize its street lights. Over the next two years, the city’s 100,000 street lights will be converted to LED lighting.

Over the next three years, the city will convert its more than 15,000 street lights to LED bulbs. The city is slated to have completed converting all its street lights to LED fixtures in three years.
