The update to PGP's Whole Disk Encryption 9.9 solution comes at a time when more Macs are being used in the enterprise environment.
Both the Mac OS X and Windows Vista Enterprise Editions currently offer built-in encryption as part of their operating systems: Apple calls theirs FileVault and Vista’s is called BitLocker.
It doesn’t discuss specific software encryption systems either, such as Microsoft’s OS-level solution BitLocker or third-party products like TrueCrypt.
