Six Poway Girl Scouts were among the 62 in the Girl Scouts San Diego council to earn their Girl Scout Gold Award this year.

Adel and Omar Nofal earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, said the leaders of Troop 318 in Orland Park.
