The Boston College Eagles (6-0, 2-0 ACC) women’s lacrosse team continued its hot start to the year with a 21-5 road win over the Virginia Tech Hokies (5-2, 1-1 ACC) on Saturday. The Eagles got out to a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

Despite Carys Baker’s 24 points, Virginia Tech’s women lost a 92-89 overtime thriller Thursday night at Boston College. The loss made the NCAA at-large hopes of the Hokies (17-11, 8-9 Atlantic Coast Conference) more precarious. Carleigh Wenzel added 19 points, Matilda Ekh 15 and Mackenzie Nelson 11 for Tech.
