State threatens to take over Harris County elections after voters found registered at UPS Stores
The Texas Secretary of State's Office could cut funding for elections in Harris County after state Sen. Paul Bettencourt discovered more than 100 voters registered at P.O. boxes.
In a statement to Houston Public Media on Tuesday, Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Annette Ramirez said the office is reviewing the records associated with the two addresses at the center of the complaint and will promptly take any necessary action.
