An 8-year-old child died Sunday after being shot when gunfire broke out on a Baton Rouge street, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Curtis Stewart, 31, was arrested in 2021 in connection with the killing of Devonta Ennis, 25, and was tried for second-degree murder in front of Judge Eboni Johnson Rose in 2023.
