Republicans in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives chose a member from rural Bedford County on Tuesday to be their floor leader for the coming two-year session.

State Representative Jesse Topper (R-Fulton/Bedford) has been elected the Republican leader of the State House. Topper’s election comes after State Rep. Bryan Cutler announced he would not seek election to a leadership role.
