Downtown's Midland Charms building could be converted into affordable housing units
Overland Property Group plans to convert the Midland Charms building, 401 W. Texas Ave., into 78 affordable apartments via historic tax credits, with work eyed for 2027.
Overland Property Group, which recently completed the transformation of the former Montgomery County hospital into affordable senior housing, will purchase the school and 5.66 acres of the property.
