Police Monday released the name of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and killed in Long Beach last month. Carleton Carlson, 77, of Long Beach, died at a hospital after being struck at 7:25 p.m.

The accident happened at around 7:25 p.m. on February 21, at the intersection of Palo Verde Avenue and Atherton Street.
