Liverpool has retired the No. 20 shirt worn by Diogo Jota following his death in a car crash last week. The 28-year-old Jota died along with his brother Andre Silva, also a soccer player, near the northwestern city of Zamora, Spain.

Liverpool announced it'll retire Diogo Jota’s No. 20 to honor the forward, who died in a car crash on July 3 alongside his brother, André Silva.

No Liverpool player at any level of the club will wear number 20 as a mark of respect to Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash last week.
