Oblivious to the punishing midday heat, a wheeled robot powered by the sun and infused with artificial intelligence (AI) carefully combs a cotton field in California, plucking out weeds.

According to IFAD, it has invested over USD 1.5 billion in India in the last 45 years, reaching over 6 million families.
