Ford is recalling more than a million vehicles due to a software issue that can cause the rearview camera to malfunction, increasing the chance of an accident, government auto regulators said.

Ford models released across three years appear to have an issue affecting the usability of their rearview camera features.

Ford Motor Company issued the recall on May 9, affecting Ford models like Mustang, F-150 and Bronco and Lincoln vehicles.
