One of the deadliest snakes to the environment has arrived in Majorca by swimming to the popular holiday hotspot.

Ibiza campaigners point out that flights to the island have risen from just over 25,000 in 2000 to a record 66,000 scheduled for this year. Almost a fifth of the planes are arriving from the UK.
