The family of a Brazilian hiker found dead in Indonesia days after a fall climbing a volcano have criticised the rescue effort as too slow, before authorities carry out an autopsy Thursday to find out the time of her death.

A young Brazilian hiker who fell hundreds of feet from the ridge of a towering Indonesian volcano and was trapped there for almost four days was found dead on Tuesday, Brazil's government said. For days, millions of people in Brazil had watched, posted and prayed as rescuers tried to locate her.

Officials said rescuers found Juliana Marins dead and would evacuate her body on Wednesday morning because of bad weather.
