Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim says his underperforming team must take its share of the blame for the club’s financial woes.

Ruben Amorim has admitted that the Manchester United staff who are set to lose their jobs in the latest round of cut-backs are paying the price for the team's lack of success on the pitch.

United announced on Monday a new “transformation plan” including a further 150 to 200 redundancies on top of previously announced job cuts designed to stem a steady stream of losses off the pitch.
